Die Joodse Oorlog, ook genoem die Joodse Opstand, het van 66 tot 70 n.C. in Judea en Galilea gewoed. Joodse rebelle, gelei deur die Selote, het teen die Romeine in opstand gekom. Met die val van Jerusalem en die vernietiging van die tempel (29-30 Augustus 70) het die oorlog tot 'n einde gekom, hoewel dit eers met die verowering van Masada in die jaar 73 was dat die laaste Joodse verset tot 'n einde gekom het.[1][2][3]
